Fort Collins features many kid-friendly destinations for fun, and this summer options for entertainment are endless! While you wait for the first summer nights to arrive, enjoy this amazing experience of taking in the beauty of the night sky over the Rockies with members of the Northern Colorado Astronomical Society.

Families will enjoy viewing stars, galaxies, planets, and more!

Take the kids to The Little Gym of Fort Collins to enjoy a tropical week that takes them to a different Hawaiian Island to play a game of hiding & seek!

Each island has its own quest and its own hidden “wonder” to seek!

During this summer camp, kids will do some planting in the garden, exploring the plants and trees that grow all over the ELC property, and more as they investigate the parts of a plant, what makes soil so special, and the insects and animals that depend on these green things.

In this camp for kids ages 6-12 years, they will learn new skills so they can spring to NEW heights, whether they are learning a squat on the vault or perfecting a Front Handspring vault.

These unique camps for kids ages 8-12 will take place in a radical parkour arena!

Kids will enjoy parkour games such as ”Floor is Lava”, obstacle courses, jumping, vaulting, and climbing skills, instruction from amazing parkour coaches, flips, tricks, and kicks, and so much more!

In this camp for kids ages 3-8, they will learn about the duties and importance of Superheroes, those heroic women and men who save us from fires, keep us safe, and speed us off to the hospital when we need to.

These camps will be filled with fun and educational activities!

During this summer camp, kids ages 7-12 will be learning outdoor skills and testing their knowledge of the natural world!

They will learn the skills needed to rough it in the wild, including fire-starting, shelter building, and Leave No Trace.

In this camp for kids ages 6 to 12, they will fine-tune technique for front and back walkovers, all while building the gymnast’s mental strength and confidence.

Open Air Adventure Park is the perfect place for a fun summer day!

It combines an outdoor location with 32 unique challenges at 11 and 21 feet in the air! There’s an activity for almost every age, including ziplining, ax throwing, climbing over hanging chairs, and more!

Kids ages 3 to 8 will get to enjoy this immersive animal adventure which will include games, crafts, and animals of all kinds!

Each day your Super Kid will boost their brains and their bodies while developing a love and respect for the animals all around them!

Summertime is perfect when you can enjoy time outdoors and cool off at an amazing pool like this one!

Families will enjoy a water park experience right there in the city! Among the amenities and activities, you will find an outdoor pool, a 30-foot drop slide, an open curly slide, a lazy river, shallow water, geysers, a large play structure, and more!

Kids ages 6 years old through 12, will grow their physical skills on the beam while also building their confidence in this great camp!

Each camp day will introduce a new skill that leads up to the skill combinations on day three, building the gymnast’s technique and mastery of the balance beam!

During this summer camp, kids ages7-12 years old will uncover the beauty of the natural world.

They will be using all forms of artful expression from painting to drawing to sculpture, gathering their inspiration from the land around them!

Kids’ summer will be filled with active fun and creative play at Timberline Gymnastics summer camps!

Campers will spend their summer running, tumbling, jumping, and balancing in a kid-friendly gym under the supervision of trained coaches.

Campers ages 7-12 will explore the adaptations that make each creature unique and discover how they each fit into their habitats and ecosystems.

Shipwrecked! A Pirate Parrrrttayyy!

During this week, Super Kids ages 3-8 will embark on a journey with Green Beard The Pirate’s Galleon!

There will be a new adventure each day for the little pirates, sailing to a new island, and searching for new, buried treasure!

This is one of Fort Collins’ favorite spots for family-friendly outdoor summer adventures, and you can enjoy hiking, swimming, paddle-boating, camping, and more outdoor activities for the entire family!

For gymnasts, cartwheels and Handstands are important gateway skills that lead beginning/intermediate level gymnasts toward learning Round-Offs, Back Handsprings, and more!

Kids ages 6-12 will have a blast at this camp with “Caribbean/Hawaiian” theme that will add a tropical twist to a week of skill-building and fun!

Mountain Whitewater Descents Rafting

Rafting in Fort Collins is a must-do family activity when it comes to outdoor summer fun!

Mountain Whitewater Descents Rafting offers rafting adventures for the whole family on the Cache La Poudre River near Estes Park Colorado!

Pajama Party Camp

Kids ages 3-8 can attend this camp in their PJs and PARTY The Little Gym Way!

They will enjoy games, challenges, and even some Hip Hop Dance while wearing their favorite Pajamas!

This Skill Thrill Camp for kids ages 6 to 12 years old is perfect for those who are ready to learn the Back Handspring or for those looking for more of a challenge in learning power tumbling variations!

This summer, all ages and experience levels can enjoy the rafting and kayaking adventures offered by A1 Wildwater!

The Super Campers ages 3-8 will embark on several underwater adventures to find the Missing Mermaid Palace all while making new friends along the way!

The premier ice and aquatics facility is a great summer destination: you can cool off in the pool, or pretend it’s winter at the amazing ice skating rink!

Amazing Aerials

Beginning and intermediate gymnasts ages 6-12 years old will be given the opportunity to grow their cartwheels as they progress to perfecting an Aerial!

Kids ages 7-12 will get to spend the summer at the amazing Poudre River!

Campers will spend nearly every day of this camp at the Poudre River exploring this amazing river ecosystem.

Kids ages 3 to 8 can witness Triceratops, Velociraptors, and dinosaurs of all kinds come alive in the Jurassic Gym!

They will experience prehistoric adventures using big body play, directive activities, and thrilling games! 

Poudre River Whitewater Park

Kids of all ages, kayakers, families, and tubers can enjoy the Poudre River and all it has to offer.

The whitewater park has two whitewater drop structures and is the perfect spot to enjoy a summer day in the open air!

Rocky Mountain Adventures

Families will enjoy a thrilling whitewater rafting experience in a protected, and beautiful, environment!

Rocky Mountain Adventures offers guided rafting trips, instruction, and whitewater rafting on the Wild & Scenic Cache la Poudre River in Northern Colorado from beginning to advanced levels.

Kids ages 3-8 will experience out-of-this-world adventures during this stellar summer camp as they fly and dodge asteroids, comets, and black holes!

Team E.S.I. (Environmental Science Investigators)

During this fun summer activity, kids will ask questions about nature and set out to find the answer for themselves through observation and exploration.

They will be using scientific tools like soil corers and microscopes to discover how nature works.
